INTERNSHIP REGULATION

GOAL

ARTICLE 1-

The aim of this directive is to regulate the internship requirements of the students studying in the current departments of Zile Dinçerler School of Tourism and Hotel Management.

SCOPE

ARTICLE 2-

This directive regulates the principles and procedures for planning, conducting and evaluating the internships of the students of the Tourism Management and Hotel Management School of Zile Dinçerler, which is affiliated to Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University.

ARTICLE 5-

(a) Examination of the internship applications, approving the internship places and following the internship, the head of the department and the internship consultant, the Internship Committee is authorized from the evaluation of the internship.

(b) In conducting the internship; Internship Commission to the relevant Department Head; Head of the Department is responsible to the Directorate of High Schools.

ARTICLE 6-

(a) The students are required to complete their internship between the end of the courses and the starting dates specified in the academic calendar in order to be able to graduate from the education program. The students who are not accepted by the internship commission will repeat their internship in the following periods.

(b) The student himself determines the place of internship, which fulfills the criteria in Article-8, and approves the internship advisor. The student can not start the internship and can not change the position of the internship without obtaining the approval of the internship consultant. Otherwise, the internship will be considered invalid. The student who has left his / her internship within 3 weeks in writing and / or verbally

(c) The students shall submit the documents required to be prepared before and during the internship period in a timely manner and in a timely manner to the internship and to the internship consultant.

 

ARTICLE 7-

Our internship documents are:

(a) Place of Internship Application and Acceptance Form: It is the document that shows that the student accepts the student as an intern and the internship advisor approves. This form is arranged in triplicate. After the necessary approval procedures, two copies are submitted to the internship consultant personally or by fax, and one copy to the company.

(b) Occupational Accident and Occupational Disease Insurance Form: It is the form which shows that the health insurance for the occupational accident and occupational disease will be done by the College. 3 copies are arranged by the student. After the necessary approval procedures, two copies are submitted to the internship consultant personally or by fax, and one copy to the company.

(c) Compulsory Internship Form: It is the form where the information of the trainee and the internship will be made. 3 copies are arranged by the student. After the necessary approval procedures, two copies shall be submitted in person or by fax to the internship consultant.

(d) Trainee Student Assessment Form: Trainee Student Assessment Form; Internship student attendance schedule, workplace internship student evaluation report and college internship student assessment report consists of 3 main sections. The attendance schedule is filled in on a daily basis according to the attendance of the student by the responsible person. The student appraisal report is completed at the end of 60 working days of the student's internship period with a score of over 100 (one hundred) according to the student's workplace. Signed and stamped by the operating authority. This form is delivered to the College within the required confidentiality by the company where the internship student accepts the internship application. 
The necessary evaluation is done by the internship commission.

(e) Internship Report: This is the document that the student obtains from the website of the university without registering for the internship and records the experience, impression and work done during the internship and signed by the student.

 

INTERNSHIP PLACE

ARTICLE 8-

Our students can do their internships at the following facilities.

• Social facilities connected to Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University,

 

• Three, four and five-star hotels with Tourism Management Certificate,

• Four and five star resorts,

• Food processing and catering establishments with tourism management certificate,

• Group A, Provisional Group A, Group B and Group C Travel Agencies, (excluding Food and Beverage Management students)

• Other businesses that the internship commission will accept on the application of the student.

 

INTERNSHIP DURATION

ARTICLE 9-

(a) Internship duration is 60 (sixty) working days without interruption.

(b) All the weekend and public holidays worked are counted from the internship.

(c) Any day not covered by weekly permits or other reasons (even if a medical report is received) is not included in the internship period.

(d) The total duration of the internship is 30 (thirty) working days.

(e) Students who do not do their internship cannot graduate even if they are successful in all courses.

 

LIABILITY OF INTERNSHIP

ARTICLE 10-

During the internship, students must comply with the provisions of the Student Disciplinary Regulations of the Higher Education Institutions, the working principles of the institution that they do an internship, and the rules on work conditions, discipline and occupational safety. Operational authorities terminate the internship of the students who act on the contrary and inform the School Directorate about the situation. In this case, students must repeat their internship.

COMPLETING THE INTERNSHIP -FREE DELIVERY AND EVALUATION

ARTICLE 11-

(a) In order to evaluate the internship, the student is obliged to deliver the Student Trainee Evaluation Form and the Internship Report to the Internship Consultant at the beginning of the first semester following the end of the internship. Documents not delivered in time are not taken into consideration.

(b) Students who submit their internship documents within the specified period; At the date determined by the internship commission, the student is taken to an interview and the student attendance chart, the student internship student assessment report and the internship report are taken into consideration and examined at the end of the examination. The results are announced by the Internship Commission within 1 week following the date of the decision.

 

 

(c) The list showing the result of the internship evaluation of the students doing their internship is submitted to the Student Affairs Office after being approved by the internship commission.

 

INTERNSHIP EXEMPTION

ARTICLE 12-

(a) Students who have transferred through a transfer or vertical transfer, and who have completed a pre-license or undergraduate program before, have successfully completed their internship in a company that fulfills the requirements of Article 8 in the course of their studies. apply to the department head. The decision on the internship exemption of these students is given by the internship commission. The internship commission may take the student for an internship interview when he / she deems necessary.

IMPLEMENTATION AND EXECUTIVE

ARTICLE 13-

This directive enters into force as of the date of passing Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Senate.

ARTICLE 14-

T.C. has been issued as of the date of entry into force of this Directive. Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Zile Dinçerler School of Tourism and Hotel Management supersedes the provisions of internship instructions.

ARTICLE 15-

The provisions of this Directive, T.C. Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Zile Dinçerler is run by the Director of the School of Tourism and Hotel Management.
